This project involved development work on an electronic vote processing system for postal ballots in the UK and European elections 2004. The package was based around Borland C++ and Microsoft SQL server as development tools.

 

Skillsoft Corporation,

Consultancy services provided to Skillsoft Corporation assisted in the updating of a large number of technical training courses to NASBA (similiar to ISO) certification standards.

 

Microsoft Corporation,
Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland

Worldzone has supplied software engineering and development services to Microsoft Corporation on more than one occasion. Mainly dealing with localisation tools and process development as well as project management, products involved have included Visio and more recently Microsoft CRM.

Nortel Networks,
Mervue Business Park, Galway, Ireland

Two Nortel projects have been undertaken successfully. A translation tool was developed to automate the translation of the many Crystal Report templates which ship with each language version of Symposium Express. A six month maintenance/upgrade project was also completed.

 

IBM/Lotus Development,

Contracted to provide localisation engineering work on LearningSpace, a Lotus Notes distributed learning web product.

 

Concorde World Aviation,

Developed an automated code parser to find and fix Y2K anomalies in an airline ticketing consolidation system.

 

Siemens Business Systems (Ireland) Ltd,
Leeson Court, Leeson St, Dublin 2

Developed an object framework to handle communications between various legacy applications, a bank branch server and a mainframe host.

Systems Integration work on WAN multiplexers.
